Summary:

A white lie covered in darkness is about to come full circle...
Noah Baker never wanted to betray the Others. But if his military commanders want him to covertly investigate a Lupine scientist - whose extraordinary research on sensory perception in werewolves could be used to develop werewolf-sharp senses in human soldiers - Noah must oblige. Even if it means deceiving the woman he desires the most.
Samantha Carstairs is the personal assistant to the Alpha of the Silverback Clan, and as best friend to the Lupine community's most brilliant scientist, she is privy to its most dangerous secret. Noah knows that Sam will never leak the scientific research... so he must find another way to get it, while keeping Sam close. But someone else is after Sam's secret. Who is the other spy infiltrating the Others? If their genetic secrets get into the wrong hands, all hell could break loose. Now Noah's true loyalty is put to the test as he fights to protect the Others - and his beloved Sam- and find the imposter... before it's too late.

My Thoughts:

Oh Dang! The chemistry between Sam and Noah is electric! Clothes are ripping and they're doing it on the floor a couple of times and in the shower too... Take a breath, guys. lol!
The tough part about this book is when Sam finds out that Noah has been a spy for her pack. The anguish reminds me of Lora Leigh's Mercury's War. To me, though, it seemed like Sam forgave Noah too easily. I know he was sorry and all that, but she could have dragged out the making up for a couple of days. I think the sex would have been more.. more.. something.
One thing I didnt really understand about this book was that Annie's lab assistant seemed to be a spy but there was no follow up to that story. He was creepy and perfect material for it but after a couple of pages he was forgotten. It made no sense that the government was behind everything if you have a perfect suspect right in front of you to use!!! *shrugs* oh well...
In the beginning, it was a little hard to get through. I was getting frustrated 'cause I just wanted to pick up a new book. But then things started to flow which made the book more enjoyable.

So... go to your local bookstore or order online just as long as you don't make this book full of forgotten pages.

Talk to you soon!
Amy
