And so begins a ruthless game of politics and intrigue, magic and betrayel, where the weapons are hate and love... and the price could be terrible beyond imagining.

My Thoughts:

Oh geez. This book was incredible. Ms. Bishop creates a story filled with many twists and turns and drama and the mechanics of this new world and way of life. It truly is incredible. For a woman who just wrote this novel as her first book, she is on the way to stardom. Bishop creates characters that are beautiful, terrifying, and very complex. You could almost know someone in the book and then have them change in an instant. There are so many elements to this book! I dont think i could list them all without spoiling the whole novel for you guys.
I picked up this book looking for a good romance novel to read (since that is mostly what i read). There is romance but the main character is only 12 years old. So no romance going on there! lol. Some of the images Bishop pictures, are very disturbing and graphic. So if you arnt into that then dont pick up this book. There are some dark dark elements to this novel, and some things will either relate to you if you have suffered child abuse or disturb you if you dont like... some things.

So... go to your local bookstore or order online just as long as you dont make this book full of forgotten pages.

More coming soon by Bishop!,
Amy
