Summary:

The Dark Court has been formed. Jaenelle Angelling now reigns as Queen, protector of the Shadow Realm. No longer will the corrupt Blood slaughter her people and defile her lands. But where one chapter ends, a final, unseen battle remains to be written.
And even Witch cannot stand alone. Somewhere, long lost in madness, is Daemon, her promised Consort. His unyeilding love for Jaenelle will complete her court and secure her power. Yet, even together, their strength may not be enough to stave off their enemies.
In the end, only a terrible sacrifice can save those Jaenelle loves...

My Thoughts:

Get your Kleenex 'cause this one will make you cry! This whole novel is a breakdown just waiting to happen. There is so much happiness infused with sadness that its almost unbearable. Daemon comes back to Jaenelle but throughout the book both of them are fighting the attraction between them! Talk about frustrating... Saetan also has a new love and what!? Luciver has a family? When did this happen?? This book takes place five years after the second one... so much has changed in less than a decade.
Jaenelle is once again having to make decisions that hurt her. But she makes good ones when it comes to protecting her kindred and family. Towards the end of the novel, Daemon does some pretty graphic stuff to his brother and father. So if your not into almost balling your eyes out because of the cruelty then dont pick up the book.
This novel, though you cant help but cry, is my favorite out of the three. Jaenelle finally realizes who she needs to be for her people and makes horrifying decisions for them.
Overall, a great read.

So... go to your local bookstore or order online just as long as you dont make this book full of forgotten pages.

Happy reading!
Amy
